Hi, I’m Ashley Clair!
Midwest born and raised, with a passion for discovering new places and perspectives. Through A Clair Perspective, I share honest reflections, tips and stories about parenting and traveling with young kids. A little more about me:
I’m a mom to two amazing daughters (we’ll call them E and L for anonymity), wife to Michael (although, he prefers Mike) and dog mom to our quirky Goldendoodle, Stella. In addition to traveling and spending time with my family and friends, I love to learn from podcasts, watch Premier League football, read (both fiction and nonfiction), nerd out about personality assessments (7w6, ENFP…if you know, you know!), tend to my garden (my new obsession), belt out show tunes and binge watch/rewatch my favorite TV shows (any Ted Lasso fans out there?!). And while I married my high school sweetheart, love pretty dresses and baking, I promise I am not a trad wife…even if my Pinterest algorithm thinks I am.
My professional background spans communications, development, lifestyle photography and travel & tourism, including time at our local convention and visitors bureau. Considering I’ve done every aspect of blogging in a professional setting, having my own blog feels like a natural next step for me!
